This piece isn't about different kinds of child abuse but rather the phenomenon.

This is one of the many shocking observations made by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG). (Representrat)

Originally writing about "the wall problem" in the U.S. but given the circumstance, today we shall look at this heartbreaking issue.

I'd really wish to only say "recently" but unfortunately it seems more like "annually". Yes, we're undergoing yet another series of child abuse cases from the news. It's the same every year. 1 child abuse/murder/sexual harassment case popped out that gets all the attention off of someone's political distress and then all of a sudden, most journalists drop their work to focus on related cases. Then those are all we see. In no time, someone would propose "killing by law", blaming the government, blaming the police, claiming of being afraid to have children or letting them go free...etc. which clearly helps, doesn't it.

The way we get informed has transformed. Though not having a TV, "news" still come flooding through other measures to me such as from Facebook, YouTube...The news channels, they (should) have the news events reported to us in the most objective manner, giving the audience space to ponder. Perhaps that's where the news should stop, or not. However, they tend to focus on "the rating". Whichever news that they think should arouse us, is the news they would report. The news is whatever smart or stupid they want us to be as we read less, watch less but hear and speak more.

The internet, where we are mostly commenting based on "titles" of the article, where we all think of ourselves as writers, critics, and the justice, is now playing a major role in information in this era. Viewers are easily manipulated and misled base on how eye-catching the titles are, therefore "click bait".

How do we not fall for that? We start by breaking the equation of [ratings=idiot+disinformation]

As a result (of knowing by comments), we could see many who start sharing under the same #DeathToAbuser(translated) and few who have more insights. I'm not here to say that I've got a solution. However, I'm here to show why death sentencing(or by torture...some say) is obviously not the solution. It's the opposite of the solution.

"You wouldn't say that if it was your child!", something that we might have all heard before, between the argument of human right activists and victims family/ self-righteous, random netizens. Yes, I believe I will say that. To clarify, what I meant was that I wouldn't count on the law to do the work. I would simply kill the person/people by my own hands as my life was also over if my child was murdered or had gone through such a fatal tragedy. Then, of course, I'll be in jail. The law, the legal system is to regulate the common good, not to make us go back to savagery.

What should we do to the convicts? Our legal system has already told us since the first time we heard about the law, imprisonment. Think back on the world without laws and you get the less-educated who only know how to use violence whenever things went out of hand. [On a side note] I'd like to purpose a prison without compartments though. The idea is that we separate the criminals and us; we live outside whereas they do inside "the wall" as a society of their own. These people inside don't get help outside except a piece of property and have to build, grow everything and live with "the others". Wouldn't this also mean that we're using fear to control people? No, only the convicted ones should be afraid of their deeds.

OK, I'm coming off the topic too far. But if you could see the point here for a second, asking to amend the legal system "in order to kill" is not a good step towards better civilization! Child abuse and death sentencing are two sides of a coin. Lock them up, let them transform themselves, and we could focus on helping the citizens to know better. THAT is the way to better the society. Education is the key. With better education, comes better economy, better quality of life and better development. It's true. Try to think of a case which rich parents abuse their children. Difficult, right? It's not impossible but the odds are clearly lower than those who live a poor life due to lack of education.

So please, do us a favor and stop showing how much you're controlled by our prehistoric ideology of "live by my rule or die by the law". We are better; we should be and we must. Education is the key.
