Nope. This article isn't written by a bot.
It seems like everyone's talking about either ChatGPT or trying to get something like it nowadays. Midjourney, Lensa AI, you name it. With a huge breakthrough in the field, these technologies deserve a worthy celebration but of course, there instantly are those that were once the crown jewels of companies and are now never looked at again, namely the Metaverse(Facebook), and Bart(Google).
It is never the tools that we should fear but the users. Every time a great advancement in technology occurs, the discussions would soon turn into either pro it or against it. Automation, the internet, smartphones, smartwatches... these that we don't live without anymore were also all victims of false accusations about bringing the end of the labor force or even the world, and yet here we are. It only replaces the people who refuse to move on and adapt. Let it be clear again here. There is no stopping of the development in the tech field because there is no stopping of free will. We can try to regulate it, and yet it'll always be three steps ahead.
They say that ChatGPT knows everything, can almost answer all your questions, and might even rattle Google as the top search engine because the latter only provides countless possible results and ChatGPT gives one right away. In fact, Google is on red alert about it, too. Though it may not be perfect, it certainly is capable in seemingly all fields, all-knowing, but not all-powerful, just yet. As it refreshes our imagination and revolutionalizes industries such as in designing, writing, and now teaching. One of the main reasons for fear is that the line of jobs that we consider "only humans can do" is gradually thinning down. After all, what's there to teach when an AI is there for all kinds of students; what's there to write when an AI can do it for you in minutes while you spend weeks and months?
Easily get, easily use, we want more convenience in our lives so we could live even more comfortably. Laziness is part of human nature and even the drive of hard work. A lot of times, we push further so we could enjoy that snack at the end of the day. However, is it the same case for learning and our own development?
There is no doubt that AI is going to stay and take over many of the tasks humans do now. Is that a bad result though? It certainly isn't. As it learns our ways and does our jobs, we ought to learn its ways and evolve to do better jobs. If you only have ideas but no skills to paint? Teach an AI to generate a picture of your thoughts. If you want to practice your language skills in writing, teach an AI what you want to write about and learn it.

The day when we only take advantage of technology is the day that the slave becomes the master. Although this is a highly possible future, here with [Free The Language] we still hope that we don't stop at knowing. We need to keep learning.
