There are many reasons for people to start doing photography (including taking snaps and selfies). It might be a significant life event coming up – new baby, wedding, birthday or overseas trip that you have saved up for over many years. Photos help you to capture their moments, like your digital camera eyes.
One of the best things about photography is that it is a hobby that anyone can get into. No matter what job you do, how and where are you, your fitness level, age, etc.… you can participate. I’ve seen photography as an especially important thing are for retired people, young children, and those with disabilities. With retired people, coming out of a life of working non-stop, busy hours every day to suddenly having too much free time can be a hard transition. But retirement is a time in your life for you to relax, so taking up photography as a new hobby can be a way to make this time better. Moreover, disabilities people can often feel left out, so photography is a hobby that is accessible for them. With increasingly modernizing technology, it is evolving to make it possible for blind photographers to find a way.
Photography allows you to create images of events, times, and places. It records moments in your life and enables you to share them with families and friends. By being able to capture a particular moment in time, you carry the memory of that event forward with you, allowing you to share it and remember it with those that were there. Those memories become part of your history, not just stories passed down through the generations – but images as well. Many years later, you can gather together with the people you love and look back at those old photos, imagine these days in the past in the most precise way. A popular idiom once says, “A picture is worth a thousand words”. Years pass by fast. You might be regret not taking photos to capture your memories one day in the future. Photos are special magic. For instance, there is a television show which will find your relatives who have been missing for years. The only clues they have are pictures and some notes, but they still can find that person after all those years.

Photography is a very acceptable form of creativity. It allows endless flexibility in how you adapt it to your own personal style. Your style can grow as you learn more and start to experiment with different things in life. Being in the right place at the right time with a camera in hand can lead to a beautiful shot just because of what you see in front of your eyes. As you grow as a photographer, you’ll also see your creative abilities growing. Creativity is fun, and it provides a necessary balance against the stressful demands of the modern lifestyle. Create things through taking photos can somehow relieve stress and help you to take a break from the noisy life in the outside world. Taking some pictures, keep ourselves stimulated without stressing out.
Photography adds so much value to our lives, by recording special events, people, or places, as well as helping us learn and grow as people. It allows you to share your life and experiences in more meaningful ways through images, either online or printed and given as gifts. Photography is a hobby that offers so many possibilities for creative expression, a variety of ways to capture an image. Age is not a limit to learning a new hobby; you can start with the camera on your phone. The pictures you take will be your long-lasting memories when you get older.
