Every day, we see a lot of models with perfect bodies, expensive clothes, and stunning expressions on magazine covers. If you thought that is all there is to fashion, you have never been this wrong.

In general, fashion is important because it reflects every culture in the world. By looking at your clothes, people can guess where you come from. The styles are also different among religions and nationalities which is why it is so exciting when one travels to various parts of the planet to observe firsthand how people represent themselves and their countries.

Every country has its traditional clothes which express its unique culture. Though time and people’s creativity, designers make these special outfits more modern yet preserve their original values while enhancing and spreading the beauty of apparel worldwide. At times, famous artists wear traditional costumes performing overseas. It is a good way to show the world the beauty of their country through the eyes of their fans (admirers). For instance, in beauty pageants, contestants all over the world gather. They put on what represent their cultures and show them to the world. In that way, more people can see and be impressed by their elegance.

Fashion is the most prominent and primary method of expressing your personality. It describes your individuality and has the ability to make you feel more confident and get you more opportunities with people based on their perception of you. You may also say that instead of self-expressing it’s a mean of self-empowerment and confidence. Personally speaking, going shopping to find new outfits is how I take care of myself and relax. I am satisfied whenever I wear something I genuinely like. I feel good in it, and it helps me build a vibe and self-esteem. Fashion makes me who I am. I show to the world myself and see the world more positively. A nice outfit is not just about giving an appealing look; it also amplifies the wearer’s inner self. It helps you take on the tasks for the rest of the day with both cheer and happiness.

Fashion is vital in creating the first impression. The real fashion on the right occasion goes a long way in leaving a catchy first impression. If you are going on your first date, the right style makes you look your best, helping you gain more security before you even begin to speak. When you wear sloppy clothes to a date, you come across as lazy and with a personality that you don’t care about your appearance. However, if you are wearing a cute dress, you come across energetic and happy. Creating a lasting first impression is very important and will set up the standard for the rest of the evening. In addition, the way you look is essential for an interview to apply for a job depending on circumstances. For example, if you wear something formal instead of colorful, the impact may be good as it shows you are serious with the job, and maybe you can get the job.

The fashion industry is always changing and tries to enlighten people who wear their clothes. A good example is when Maria Grazia Chiuri from Dior made her famous “We Should All Be Feminists” tee-shirt. Fashion was not only to make women more beautiful but also to give them reassurance and confidence. It can open up minds and change the standard of beauty in societies.
