Learn Like This, or Don’t!

Due to a recent event, the reason we teach/learn the way we do has come back to the surface again. Today, let's review once more on why [Free The Language] was founded at the beginning.

Upon seeing "Free The Language", many have asked the question "is it free", or responded that they wouldn't learn if it isn't free. We do not apologize for that misunderstanding but do feel sorry for the reason it occurred. We would not change our philosophy just because some people don't value learning as we do. We'd rather focus on the ones who deserve a chance to grow together.
On our homepage, it reads:
Free Language From Testing
Free Language From Studying
Free Language From Scarcity Thinking

Testing is mostly for business. Studying makes people dull. Scarcity thinking is the result of long-term schooling; we conform and therefore forget our potentials. Our goals together should not be talking about how much money it is or how fast you can get results. Instead, how you can transform from this mindset.

Over the years, Andy has been working by himself. Very rarely would someone come along and see if there's a chance to work together. He's happy to share everything with anyone who's interested though the world outside could only function with money. An idealist either ventures alone or dies trying. Over the years, Andy has been teaching from some days to every day, almost none, to online now. There are video chats every day with both individuals and groups, and every week there's a video shared with the public. It seems that the days when he walked/skateboarded around with posters and stickers in his hands were forever long ago. Over the years, Andy has never given up on his ideology in education even though he's not in a condition that allows him 2 extra lessons every night, nor his faith in people even though most of them still choose to be lied to by expensive posers and not teachers. There's no chance for him to give up and the reason is simple: this is the only way.
Learning English or anything is the purest thing.
1. Make it part of your life

No matter it'd be your school test, your job, or your interest, learning English should be something you can relate to. Don't study for the test; understand the story of the reading comprehension. Don't try to prepare for an interview; know about yourself in English. Let the future worry about itself! Your job is to LEARN!
Make it last
This is where money easily becomes the priority concern for learners. Note this, someone who charges 1000/hour is likely to be either a fraud or way too qualified for you. There's no need for a doctor to teach your 3-year-old. A doctor wouldn't want it in the first place. Locations used to matter only second to tuition. The upside of COVID-19 was that it showed the world that teachers and students could work almost the same if we switch what we were doing to that online. Two birds with one stone, you need not worry about the location, and the tuition is lower.
3. Make it fun
No one likes to do what they don't like but not everyone knows how they might find things interesting. Strange, isn't it? Well, that's one of the most important responsibilities of a teacher. Teachers not only teach but inform and inspire. One of the most important responsibilities of a learner on the other side is to cooperate. Teaching isn't babysitting. Keep your stubbornness out of the way. Otherwise, it's more like a debate than a lesson.
